State Representative Bill Hauter today joined three other legislators who represent portions of McLean County in calling on the House State Government Administration committee to delay hearing a bill which would expand a property tax levy to all of McLean County. The legislators called for the delay so that the citizens of McLean County could be given the opportunity to express their support or their opposition before the bill is voted upon.
Hauter signed the letter requesting the delay along with State Reps. Dan Caulkins, Jason Bunting and Dennis Tipsword.
