State Rep. Bill Hauter (R-Morton) joined the Governor and a bipartisan group of legislators for a press conference in Peoria on Monday on the health insurance reform bill which passed the House last week.
“This is not a political issue. This is an issue that is important to physicians, to providers, to hospitals, and especially to patients,” Hauter said. “I’m proud to be the Republican co-sponsor. I believe the Governor’s reforms are a good start.”
The legislation, House Bill 5395, passed the House 81-25 and now goes to the Senate.
