At the excellent Morton Public Library 100 year celebration a few days ago. Some of their historical displays included my Witzig grandpa and great grandpa with a painting by my mom in the background, and a WW1 era photo of military recruits including my grandpa Bill Hauter.
I love our Morton library and have good memories of always biking home with a huge stack of checked out books on the handlebars of my BMX. My dad proudly served on the library board for years.
