Hauter bill to address pre-authorization abuse on its way to the Governor

Both houses of the General Assembly have now passed legislation sponsored by State Representative Bill Hauter (R-Morton) to address preauthorization abuse and make it easier for those with bleeding disorders to seek emergency care and get the medications they need without delay of preauthorization from their insurance companies.

The bill passed the Illinois Senate today by a vote of 56-0. Last month it passed the House 106-0.
