Illinois fire departments and ambulance services can now apply for grants through the Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Small Equipment Grant Program.
The grants can help departments obtain small firefighting and ambulance equipment, up to $26,000. The deadline to apply to the Office of the State Fire Marshal is October 1, 2024.
