Rep. Hauter recognizes medical science pioneer Rosalyn Yalow

As part of the commemoration of Women’s History Month, State Representative Bill Hauter (R-Morton) spoke in the Illinois House of Representatives on Wednesday March 12, 2025, in honor of Rosalyn Yalow, the first American-born woman to win a Nobel Prize for science and only the second woman to win a Nobel in Medicine. Yalow’s extensive and distinguished career included time at the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois.
