American Medical Association calls for delaying child transitioning surgeries until adulthood

Today is a very good day for medicine and gender confused children.

In a MAJOR development the American Medical Association (AMA) joins the American Society of Plastic Surgeons in agreeing that child transitioning surgeries have little supporting evidence and should be delayed until adulthood!

The AMA said in a statement to National Review that because “the evidence for gender-affirming surgical intervention in minors is insufficient for us to make a definitive statement . . . the AMA agrees with ASPS that surgical interventions in minors should be generally deferred to adulthood.”

House Bill 4482 would prohibit these surgical interventions in minors in Illinois.
