Today is Lincoln’s Birthday

On this day in 1809 President Abraham Lincoln was born. Lincoln came to Illinois as a young man and began his rise to greatness, becoming our nation’s greatest President. Here is one of my favorite pieces of Lincoln paraphernalia from the collection in my Springfield office – created by a local artist.
